The packages were directly handed to the beneficiaries. Each contained essential items to meet daily household needs.

Korindo Charity Week is one of the many initiatives aimed at building solidarity and social awareness in Ramadan, said the Foundation’s Secretary-General, Sunghoon Lee.
“Ramadan makes for the perfect time to strengthen our solidarity, build our empathy, and encourage support for one another. We’re grateful to be back and to be sharing our joy with you ahead of Eid al-Fitr.”
The 100 packages were addressed to people in need across the six subdistricts of Pancoran. Lee hoped the donations would still help, despite the number.
“[This aid] might not be much, but we hope it helps [everyone], shows what mutual support looks like, and makes our bond stronger,” he added.
One donation recipient is Sumarni, who shared her gratitude for the assistance with Eid preparations at home.
“Thank God for the help. Thank you, Korindo Foundation, for caring for us, and we hope your kindness never ceases,” she said.
Korindo Charity Week thus affirms the dedication of Korindo Foundation to deliver sustainable social programs and positive impacts on its immediate and surrounding communities. (PR)
