JAKARTA – This year’s Korindo Charity Week had Korindo Foundation hand out its staple food kits to 60 contractors working for the Pancoran District government in South Jakarta, Wednesday (3/11/2026).
The ceremony went down at the playground and community space Tiga Durian as part of Korindo Foundation’s Ramadan community events.
Staple food donation symbolizes support for the contractors (known locally as PJLP), who themselves support the many public services offered by the District, including environmental management and order maintenance.
These people are expected to benefit from the kits and be encouraged to continue their work in the area, said Korindo Foundation’s General Manager Setiyono.
“We hope the kits can help our contractor friends go through their work days without worries.”
Praises were sung by the District government, with Deputy Head Rudy Cahyadi thanking Korindo Foundation for its continued contributions to his community.

“We, the District Government, would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Korindo Foundation for its unwavering support, not only today but also [other times] through other impactful programs.”
Yayan, who represented the beneficiaries, had some high praises as well.
“On behalf of PJLP, we would like to thank you for the staple food kits, they would be great for us and our families. May success and prosperity always be with Korindo [Group and Foundation] and Korindo can continue to benefit a lot of people.”
Warmth and camaraderie filled the air. The beneficiaries were grateful for the attention they received during a month so closely linked to generosity and compassion.
With Korindo Charity Week, the Foundation hopes to foster unity while continuing to serve immediate communities. (PR)
