JAKARTA – Korindo Foundation continues to strengthen its collaboration with the government to deliver prenatal nutritional support. The latest initiative came in the form of an educational seminar titled “Sentuh Bumil 2026” and nutrition kit distribution to 20 expecting mothers across Pancoran District.
Having taken place on Thursday (6/30/2026), both events are part of the Foundation’s stunting prevention and broader public health efforts. Nutrition kit beneficiaries learned about the importance of meeting nutritional needs from the local puskesmas nutritionist, before receiving four-month supplies of eggs and milk to support themselves and their babies through the first 1,000 days of life. These kits were tailored to fulfil 70% of the mothers’ additional daily nutritional requirements.
Korindo Foundation’s General Manager, Setiyono, said the Foundation welcomes the collaboration with Pancoran District and the puskesmas in bringing better health outcomes to pregnant women. He stressed that stunting prevention must take place early, and this includes ensuring proper nutrition during the antenatal period.
“Stunting is a collective issue, and we need to join forces to prevent it. In this regard, the Korindo Foundation is committed to doing so by providing four months’ worth of nutrition kits containing eggs and milk for supplementary food,” Setiyono added.

Pancoran District’s Secretary, Fadhilah Nursehati, praised the initiative. She saw private sector participation in this matter as crucial to enhancing state-run public health programs, particularly those aimed at improving the nutritional balance of mothers-to-be in Pancoran District.
The puskesmas’s leader, dr. Sri Lenita, echoed Fadhilah’s statement on Sentuh Bumil 2026, calling it a “product of teamwork” between the local public health center and Korindo Foundation. Cross-stakeholder support, she said, is integral to improving the nutritional status of expectant women.
“We hope this activity can help pregnant women improve their nutritional status, while assisting stunting prevention efforts since the prenatal stage. Having proper nutrition is central to cultivating child growth and development, as well as a high-quality workforce.”
Onwards, the Pancoran District puskesmas will ensure these kits meet the recipients’ nutritional needs with the guidance of its medical staff. This joint initiative also demonstrates the Foundation’s support for the government’s maternal health and stunting prevention work. (PR)
