PERTANIAN\u00a0kota (urban farming) era normal baru yang digagas Yayasan Korindo bersama dengan Kelompok Tani (Poktan) Arpati RT 08\/001 Kelurahan Pengadegan, Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan, telah membuahkan hasil. Setidaknya lima kilogram tanaman pokcay dan kangkung serta beberapa ekor lele sudah dipanen\u00a0pada Selasa (11\/5).<\/p>\n

Sebagian hasil panen dijual langsung ke masyarakat sekitar, sementara sisanya dinikmati bersama pada acara silaturahmi saat Lebaran.<\/p>\n

Pada keterangn pers, Kamis (3\/6), pengembangan pertanian kota di Jakarta bukanlah program baru bagi Korindo. Sebelumnya, melalui Yayasan Korindo, perusahaan telah mengembangkan Kampung Hidroponik di gang sempit yang juga terletak di Kelurahan Pengadegan.<\/p>\n

Dalam program terbarunya ini, Korindo berupaya merambah ke daerah pinggiran Sungai Ciliwung, tepatnya di RT 08\/001 Pengadegan. Tidak hanya hidroponik, program Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) Korindo juga menerapkan sistem aquaponik, yakni sistem pertanian yang mengolaborasikan hidroponik dengan akuakultur.<\/p>\n

Dibangun pada Maret 2021, instalasi hidroponik dan aquaponik Korindo dan Poktan Arpati memiliki kapasitas 200 lubang tanam hidroponik dan 1.000 ikan air tawar. Tapi, pada masa panen perdana ini, baru sebagian kapasitas yang sudah membuahkan hasil. Sedangkan, sisanya diprediksi baru dapat dipanen pada beberapa pekan mendatang.<\/p>\n

Dalam melaksanakan program CSC ini, Yayasan Korindo turut menggandeng Saparno, salah satu warga RW 001 Kelurahan Pengadegan yang sudah terlebih dahulu berkecimpung dalam program hidroponik.<\/p>\n

Pada 2015, Saparno sempat mendapatkan pelatihan hidroponik di Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) yang dibantu oleh Yayasan Korindo.<\/p>\n

Yayasan Korindo bekerjasama dengan Saparno untuk bertindak sebagai mentor yang bertanggung jawab memberikan pendampingan dan arahan untuk Poktan Arpatii dalam mengelola hidroponik dan aquaponik.<\/p>\n

Saparno mengakui, banyak tantangan yang dihadapi selama masa budidaya. Di antaranya intensitas hujan yang cenderung tinggi. \u201cKarena tanpa tutupan, tanaman jadi terkena air hujan terus. Semangat ini membuahkan hasil berupa tanaman dan ikan tawar pada masa panen perdana ini memiliki kualitas tinggi.<\/p>\n

Ke depannya, Saparno berharap, Korindo dapat semakin aktif untuk mendukung kegiatan pertanian kota yang melibatkan masyarakat.<\/p>\n

\u201cDi masa pandemi, banyak warga kesulitan secara ekonomi dan dukungan dari Korindo dapat membantu mereka menghadapi masa-masa sulit itu,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Sekretaris Jenderal Yayasan Korindo Seo Jeong Sik menyebutkan, pengembangan hidroponik dan aquaponik di tepi Sungai Ciliwung ini dapat menjadi contoh urban farming bagi masyarakat di daerah lain.<\/p>\n
