CIKARANG Korindo Foundation returned to Hanuri Edukasi Centre Friday (7/18) with another motivational seminar. This activity is part of Bina Pelajar program, an education-oriented Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) initiative.

Led by Korindo Foundation’s Devi Citra and Learning & Innovation Center’s Sari Puspita Dewi, students learned about work ethics, public speaking, and adapting to a new workplace. A job interview simulation was held, with participants selected at random.

The event’s mini games also delivered a fun, educational experience of building knowledge and self-confidence.

“The motivational class was really motivating, I gained so much insight into the working world and had a fun time with the games. Plus, I got to participate in a job interview simulation. Shout out to the speakers for sharing their time and expertise with us,” said Zahirah Putri Ananda, who won the title of Best Participant.

At the occasion, Korindo Foundation distributed educational funding to 36 students.

Learning & Innovation Center leader Setiyono also took the time to give some encouragement. Like in team-based games, collaboration is as important at work, he said. “No matter how smart you are, you still need to be in sync with your team so work can run smoothly.”

Students were encouraged to renew their perspective on passion. “Don’t just do what you love, but learn to love what you do. That way, you will have a greater chance of success. [All in all,] don’t forget to pray for your dreams, work hard, and surrender [to God],” he concluded.

This seminar received appreciation and support from Elly Endarwati, member of the Hanuri Education Centre Foundation governing board. “We would like to give our deepest appreciation to Korindo [Foundation] for the time, knowledge, and experience shared. It’s inspiring and encouraging for the students. May our partnership continue to flourish. Best of luck to Korindo Foundation.”

It’s an initiative that represents Korindo Group’s contribution to the local education system, and efforts towards creating a generation of highly competitive professionals. (Korindo Foundation/LIC)
