JAKARTA – Welcoming Eid al-Adha, the Korindo Foundation demonstrated its support for social and religious values by donating eight qurban<\/em> goats Thursday (6\/5).<\/p>\n

Six of them were delivered to urban villages around Pancoran Subdistrict, South Jakarta, to be further distributed to the communities. Meanwhile, the remaining two will be slaughtered during the qurban<\/em> ceremony at the subdistrict.<\/p>\n

“In celebration of Eid al-Adha, we return with Korindo Berkurban, part of our social and cultural-oriented Corporate Social Contribution programs. We\u2019re glad and grateful to be able to share with all of you through this [donation] ceremony. Hopefully our gift will bring joy and benefits to beneficiaries,” said Lee Sunghoon, Korindo Foundation\u2019s General Secretary.<\/p>\n

This activity is included in the Foundation’s annual Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) programs. Duren Tiga representative Effendi expressed his gratitude for the donation.<\/p>\n

“[On behalf of the urban village], I would like to express my gratitude for Korindo [Foundation]\u2019s assistance. This means a lot to us in our work to help those struggling financially. We will share the meat with members of our community, especially those most in need,” he said.<\/p>\n

For Effendi, this donation program benefits urban village governments and residents. He hoped to see this partnership with local communities continue.<\/p>\n
